The Forest Park Trust approached JPD with the objective of elevating their visual branding, following over two decades as a distinguished nonprofit partner to NYC Parks. Additionally, they sought a comprehensive website refresh to ensure park visitors remain seamlessly informed about events, features, activities, and rental opportunities at the Historic Oak Ridge building.
Overview
The Forest Park Trust aims to enhance Forest and Highland Parks in Queens, NY, as key recreational, environmental, educational, and cultural hubs for NYC residents and visitors.
Visual Identity
Inspired by a sense of sight and vision, we crafted a brand identity system anchored in the concept of light, using a gradient that mirrors the serene transitions of sunrise and sunset in the park. This design choice evokes a bright, modern, and vibrant visual narrative, reflecting the park's natural beauty at the beginning and end of each day.
