The Healthy School Meals for All in New York State needed branding from the ground up and a website to help them launch their campaign and secure funding to ensure that all kids in New York schools receive a healthy meal.
Overview
HSMFA is advocating for New York to establish and fund Healthy School Meals for All in the FY 2025 state budget.
Visual Identity
The visual branding needed to clearly communicate the mission of HSMFA, providing healthy school meals for all kids in NY schools and at the same time speak to the community it would be serving, young children in NY.
We created an impactful logo using New York state designed with cutout shapes of a pencil, fork and spoon. Each component speaking to the cause of providing healthy school meals for all children in NY. The color palette is one that delivers a softer tone and captures the feeling of early education.

Once we established the branding we built out a fully responsive WordPress website that served to both educate the audience about the risks of students experiencing hunger and provide information about the benefits of anti-hunger programs. The website also served as a tool to help secure and collect the funding needed to support the Healthy School Meals for All program.
