We love projects that allow us to design for creative people, so we were thrilled to work with the New Century Chamber Orchestra (NCCO) to create a new NCCO.org website with a fresh, sophisticated new look and more polish to appeal to their targeted audience.

This San Francisco-based orchestra is one of only a handful of conductorless ensembles in the world, so we wanted to create a website that reflected their unique qualities. To create this custom designed and coded WordPress website, we worked with the NCCO team to determine what designs would work best for their targeted user audience. Based on this, we created a design with a clean, sophisticated look and feel and an intuitive user experience to allow for ease of ticket purchase, recording purchase and donations made through the site.

To make the experience streamlined and help users find information easily and quickly, we integrated a calendar feature that appears throughout the site to allow users to view the ensemble’s upcoming events each month at a glance. The site includes a section to clearly list 2012-2012 season events, a straightforward ticket guide with seating information for various venues, and music and merchandise information for NCCO with links to purchase the ensemble’s recordings and their new DVD, On Our Way.

As part of the project, we also designed a direct mail printed brochure to tout the ensemble’s 2012-2013 season events, ticket prices and guides for ordering.
