We’re pleased to announce the launch of StrikingaChordtheMovie.com, the website for the documentary Striking a Chord, by director Susan Cohn Rockefeller.
JPD Studio designed and developed this WordPress website with highly-customized page templates to highlight the film, which tells an important story about the devastating effects of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) on our military troops in Iraq. The film brings the audience right into the army bases in Iraq and shows the boredom and isolation, the effect of repeated deployments, and the need to create experiences that bring the troops some consolation. The film focuses on musician Nell Bryden, whose concerts bring fervent applause and heartfelt comments from the troops, showing the deep impact the music has on them.
We’re proud to have designed the website for this film, which tells such an important story about our troops. As the film shows, music can provide a way to begin the healing process.
Please visit the Striking a Chord website to check out our site design, read more about the film and find resources about dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
